Update re: shared facilities from 17th May: Looking at the government guidelines for campsites, from the 17th May, it looks like with regards to shared bathroom areas, i.e. Shower/Toilet blocks, not much has changed (see below). Unfortunately as a small campsite, I don’t have the capacity to operate a ‘reserve and clean’ system and so for the moment the shower and toilet block and the washing up area remains closed. We also ask that visitors continue to follow the current guidelines in place for social distancing and socialising, wash hands often and use the hand sanitisers provided across the campsite.

Obviously if lock down or tighter movement or social restrictions are introduced or government guidance is amended we will review and update our guidelines, or close if required. This may mean visitors are no longer able to stay at LPP at that time. This will also apply to any visitors under local lockdowns.

We also ask that all visitors be kind to each other and respect the rules we have in place to help us keep all our visitors as safe as possible.

I am hopeful that the restrictions may lessen at the next roadmap date on the 21st June. But for the moment I am still asking all visitors booking dates after the 21st June to be prepared for the communal facilities, including the toilet block, showers, washing up facilities, washing machine and communal fridge/freezer to be closed.

If you would like to book a pitch, please email on: lppmail57@gmail.com

Taken from Government guidelines, “…. this should include assigning shared shower facilities to one permitted group of 6 people or 2 households/bubbles (i.e. making them private) or running a reservation-and-clean rota (whereby one permitted group of 6 people or 2 households/bubbles can exclusively book the shared facilities for a fixed time, and the facilities are cleaned thoroughly between reservations). Where it is not possible to manage social distancing and minimise household mixing, shared shower facilities should remain closed.”

                                                                   ******************************

In order to keep our visitors safe, we have put in place procedures and protocols for visitors to abide by when visiting (full list below).  Although the vaccination programme is rolling out, for now, we have decided to keep these procedures in place.

Please read the guidelines below carefully and confirm you are able to adhere to them. In summary, there will be no communal facilities, including the toilet block, showers, washing up facilities or washing machine and no access to communal  fridge/freezer.

Obviously if lock down or tighter movement or social  restrictions are reintroduced we will review the guidelines and close if/as required and this will mean visitors are no longer able to stay at LPP at that time. This will also apply to any visitors under local lockdowns.
